We had left two other beaches because the rocks were horrible and those were only two and four miles south on PCH. This beach had a nice sandy entry to the ocean; just right under our feet. Great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed just lying on the sand, listening to the waves, and reading my book and relaxing. Not too busy either.

This is a low key place for families and friends. Good place for kids to learn to surf and has all the amenities you need to spend the day. The usage fee is $15 but includes parking, grass field and the beach.

Each Campsite has it's own raised steel circular ring with a cooking grate that takes up 1/3 on top opening. You can burn wood inside the ring for a camp fire or for cooking.
