Lake Gregory stands amid a cool cedar and pine forest in the San Bernardino Mountains. But don’t let the pastoral setting fool you - the park teems with activity throughout the year as nature lovers converge for a wide range of recreational activities.People flock to Lake Gregory to enjoy its cool 84-acres of surface area for swimming and water sports. Each August, a 2,500-year-old Chinese tradition comes alive at Lake Gregory in the form of Dragon Boat Races. The elongated canoes seat 12 to 20 people, and a drummer beats a cadence to set a pace for the paddlers.Other activities include a fitness trail with exercise stations, picnic areas with barbecue grills, fishing, a skate park and model boat area. Four-legged friends are welcome at Lake Gregory’s dog park. The park lodge is available for events ranging from weddings to company parties.

Lake Gregory is easily reached from the LA area but not very well known. A loop around the lake which is about 2 miles is a an easy hike with plenty of benches to sit down and enjoy your surroundings. It is shaded in some parts going through forest and we found it very enjoyable. You can have lunch in... More

Great place to vacation and take the kids or just go it alone. The Mexican restaurant next door to the Motel was super.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed the paddle boats on the lake. It was relaxing and cheap - only $15 for a half an hour.

The people are friendly and the lake is beautiful. There are a few different restaurants to choose from and the main drag includes shopping and eating options. Even without snow, I had a great time.

When you visit Lake Gregory, the beauty of the lake is like a magnet that holds your gaze. However, this will cost you as every parking lot is now charging fees. We missed the signs, and it seemed a very public spot as there was a baseball field, thus, our car was towed and we were charged $435.00 for a... More

Dear carrye2015, thank you for taking the time to write a review of Lake Gregory. We are sorry you missed seeing the signs but we appreciate you alerting future patrons of the $8 parking fee. We are however, delighted in your description, "the lake is like a magnet that holds your gaze!" We couldn't have said better ourselves and we... More

This place is a hidden treasure. Less crowded then Arrowhead or Big Bear. I always end up coming back to Lake Gregory. Can't wait to come back during the 4th of July. The fireworks are awesome. The fireworks are set off right in front of you at the lake. The parade was great for our kids. They throw out candy... More

The trail around the lake was pleasant and very easy. I would never call it a "hike", it was really just a walk. There were some nice views, but nothing spectacular. I got some nice pictures of the trees and water with mountains in the background. I also got some photos of jays, coots and cormorants. A bit too much... More
