This is a great place to walk around and reflect on our past. Forcing men and women (teenagers) to go to war in another country is just not right.

Husband a Viet Nam Vet, and we are always appreciative of monuments to those who served. This monument is inside the main gate of the Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, so unfortunatley only open to those who have permitted access to the base. We stopped and...More

There is so much that could be said but only that which has been so many times before. Just drop by and pay your respects. You'll be better for it and they deserve it.

Interesting facts especially for those not familiar with the Vietnam War. Small but poignant military memorial. Allows visitors to walk around several of the craft used during this conflict. Reminder - the memorial is not public and visitors must obtain base access to view.

I was stunned at how well this was done and only wish non-military could see this (if this is on the Amphib Base). Well done, all by volunteers.

I visited this memorial with two former US Navy officers who were both Vietnam veterans. It's small and simple but you would be odd if you weren't moved by the experience.

The Memorial has been put together with care and is very nicely maintained. It is comforting to know that these individuals will never be forgotten.
