There is a nice playground for kids. A bike path runs through the park. The views of the Coronado Bridge stretches in front of you.

There are facilities for every ball-sport, pic-nick tables, coal burning BBQ-grills, rest-rooms, some parking (enough for most non weekend days). There is a small sandy beach for swimming and you can reach this park by boat to the sandy beach, near the bridge terminal.

Beautiful views of the bridge and downtown skyline - lots of folks complain about the smell at low tide (it's natural folks).

We stopped here after driving across the bridge so we could take some photos. The park is large and offers many outdoor activities. We just strolled along the harbor and looked at the views. The entrance to the park is the first right after crossing...More

Since we lived there for 4 years in the 60's the changes were really interesting to see. Some changes for the area but not so much you no longer felt welcome.
