We got a bit of history from the couple we sat next to in the theater. They said the renovation on it was great compared to 20 years ago. Wished we had known you CAN figure out what movie is in the 'big' theater. We...More

The 1947 landmark building theater underwent a major renovation in 2011 and you can bet the community had a large voice in keeping and restoring its original character and charm. Terrazzo floors, etched glass doors, and that marquee all celebrated the theater's art deco past....More

Saw two movies during my 5 day stay. Sound and picture quality were excellent. Go for the atmosphere- it's an old style movie theater with curtains, ceiling and wall decorations. Seats were comfortable with clear views of screen. Full array of refreshments with friendly service....More

A historic landmark that has been modernized. So different than today’s mega theaters. This venue has only two screens with each having only about fifty seats. But, they are all good. A fantastic movie experience.

Decided to see Battle of the Sexes. Adorable little place. Maybe 20 seats. Talk about a throwback to by gone eras. Just another reason to ❤️Coronado Island

On the outside, this theater has a vintage billboard marquee that looks like it might be cute but a bit old-fashioned. We decided to see a movie and were floored by the gorgeous designs inside. It has been restored as an elegant and grand movie...More

They just don't make them like they used to. This tiny theater has all the amenities you want in a modern theater (comfy seats, good picture quality, clean, etc.), but with all the glamour of the golden age of Hollywood. It's a classic masterpiece of...More

This is a classy movie venue showing current films. There are 3 movie theaters, each beautifully remodeled with customer esthetics in mind. Comfortable seating, wide aisles [no more hitting knees when someone passes] with great lighting. Fresh popcorn is served with real butter upon request....More
