Took the ferry over to watch sunset. Clean ferry and nice service. On time both sides and nice to sit down after walking so much. Beautiful view of San Diego both day and night.

You can always drive over the bridge from San Diego to get to Coronado Island, but why not slow it down and take the $9 round trip ferry ride from Broadway Pier in San Diego Harbor. Upon landing on the island the visitor can visit...More

We enjoyed the ferry a lot, it was a great way of transportation but also allowed us to look at San Diego from a different view! The trip is short and not expensive!

We visited The Coronado Ferry Landing on our November trip to the San Diego area. The actual ferry landing does provide beautiful views of the San Diego sky line. For us, that is where the magic of the Coronado Ferry Landing ended. We visited the...More

Beautiful area where the ferry lands and departs in Coronado between either the Broadway Pier downtown or the Convention Center. Great location with lots of shops and restaurants and a small children's beach area. Very nice area with great views of downtown across the bay.

The Ferry is old, but you can sit on top for the less than 5 minute trip to the San Diego convention center. The cost is reasonable.

This was a fun, inexpensive, and quick way to zip over to Coronado island. You can purchase tickets from a kiosk for your round trip. The ferry is very short and makes multiple trips a day.

Easy way to get for either the mainland to Coronado Island or vice versa. We enjoyed taking the ferry from our hotel to the Gaslamp district. No worries about parking or having and designated driver since we took advantage of happy hours.

The Ferry is a great way to access Coronado Island. On the way across you will be able to see the Midway aircraft carrier, Petco Park, the Kissing Statue and if you are really observant, you will see seals sleeping on the buoys. Once you...More

Some times during the year there is a free shuttle. Otherwise it is about a half hour or so to walk.

If you wear comfy shoes, it's great to walk to lots of other downtown attractions—like the Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, the Maritime Museum, etc. Enjoy!

The ferry to Coronado is a matter of blocks from the San Diego convention center. Not far. From the ferry landing in Coronado to the Coronado beach is probably at least 20 minutes. We walked part way - 4-6 blocks - and... More
