So much to see and do within a short walk wherever you stay. There were great restaurants, the food tour, shopping, the beach, and historical sites all on the island. I would definitely visit again.

I am not quite sure what I would recommend it for. It appears to be mostly a bedroom community with little else happening except for the naval base.

We went back twice in the midst of Thanksgiving holidays and it was still easy to park and felt fairly quiet. It’s a lovely beach town and a cosy resort with a traditional vibe.

The Island has its”Own Bank”. How Rich is That? It’s Militarily. How Safe is that? The houses are Not Gated. How Safe is that? THE BEACH IS AT HARMONY WITH THE SEA.? You will never find a Safer and Secure Place In The World. John

This is a lovely place to visit. You can walk to great shops, great restaurants, spend the day at the beach, or hop the ferry to San Diego.

The perfect beach community. Item number one. The historic Hotel Del Coronado. Item two one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the US. It’s a public beach. The town itself has numerous restaurants, bars, stores and beautiful homes. It’s a true gem.

A couple hours would be fine to get a good idea. Rent a bike and you will be around quickly.
