Loved the Silver Strand State Beach, the actual beach is beautiful, the vibe laid back and relaxed. If I lived in San Diego I would be here a lot!

We went to Silver Strand Beach which is just south of Corondo. It was a very nice sunny day and people were having fun at the beach. We enjoyed our time there.

I went to this beach to boogie board and had a great time. The waves are perfect for boogie boarding and playing in. Easy access and parking, with bathrooms, shower, and changing room.

If you are looking for a “tourist oriented” beach do not bother. No restaurants no shops only bathrooms and showers and it is fine by me! Could not be happier about that. My only complaint is that the beach is not clean. Dead dried out...More
