Historical and lives up to all expectations!

Fantastic place; so glad we stayed here. Get a room in the ORGINAL MAIN BUILDING. No exceptions. Google Katie Morgan for some interesting trivia.

We had heard hotel was very nice. I was expecting to see more when we walked through it. I wasn't too impressed. We spent a little time looking through some of the shops.

Raining afternoon so we went to the museum. Cute but needs to be bigger. Volunteer host didn't have much to say about other activities and tours on the island.

We decided to stay for one night in this beautiful historical hotel. I loved the property and walking around to see what the hotel has to offer. Shops and restaurants are everywhere but make sure you check the prices first so you aren't paying $100 for an average lunch (sandwich and ice tea x 2). The walls are very thin... More

A fun stop for locals or visitors. Lots of free brochures & info from friendly staff. A museum that highlights Coronado's Navy and Hotel Del Coronado history (& a temporary exhibit with various themes; currently the Stockdales Naval history). Gift shop is also right there with seashore-themed (& other, such as Wizard of Oz due to author Frank Baum's Coronado... More

Cute gift shop, nice people, and if you like history go through the museum. It's convenient to everything and the staff really helps put the focus on the military significance of the area.

They will take care of you, We were lucky enough to be there for Sunday brunch, which should not be missed. Attention to detail, fantastic food, private beach, and cherries jubilee at your table.........what else needs... More

This is a must stop when you arrive in Coronado! What a great overall information of the area we wish we had stopped at early on in our trip. The volunteer was exceptional and gave us many tips.

We took the Hotel Del tour from the V/C and museum. I found it quite interesting and the docent, an ex employee, was very well informed. We were staying at the hotel and could have wandered around on our own, but the history of the hotel was worth the $20 admission.
