I'd read a variety of conflicting information about whether the factory tour was in operation or had been closed either permanently or indefinitely, but when I contacted Fender customer service, I was assured, in multiple e-mails, that it's a go, which was actually incorrect. Here's...More

It was definitely worthwhile taking this tour. It was crowded but think that was because of all the summer visitors.

Don’t waste your time driving an hour like we did. Tours only at 10:00AM on Thursdays. It’s at the factory, not the visitor center, which is permanently closed.

So...just our luck...we were told that the visitor centre was going to be temporarily shut at the time of our brief visit to L.A. But the Fender factory recognised a connection I had to Fender guitars which was so great of them. As a result,...More

I suggest you call them directly. To my knowledge, they only give tours on Thursdays. Who knows if they might be willing to give a special tour in your case.
