The drive is more difficult than the hike. It is a very easy, beautiful hike along the North Fork of the American river to a waterfall. A great spot for lunch. Spring time you'll be treated to hill sides of beautiful wild flowers.

This is an easy 3 mile round trip hike mostly along the American River. You might have to cross a tiny waterfall this time of year but to see Codfish Falls is fantastic. Take your hiking poles if you are a little unsure of yourself....More

A very nice hike. Trail very narrow at some points. May be a problem if a fear of heights in a few spots. I enjoyed the the hike mostly easy
