Out of state family came to visit and we decided to take them to Yosemite and to the Sequoias since these are a must and one of a kind type of national parks. It was greatly enjoyed by all!

So many visitors, many foreigners, the Forest Service does a good job of managing. Many children permitted to run wild off paths, damage ecosystem, where are the parents??? Better in the spring and fall with fewer people.

Yes. Go to Shaver Lake. The Hikers Companion Book is there with tons of great hikes by a local. Check with Shaver Sports and tell them Gracie said hi.
