Very beautiful park with a pretty pond filled with animals. The trees and flowers are so pretty in all seasons! There's so much to do, whether you want to hike, bike, rest, or have a picnic, it's all possible.

Whenever I visit Castro Valley I always go to Lake Chabot. It's so beautiful and peaceful there. It feels like I'm in the mountains, but it's so conveniently located, close to everything. I just love it!

Lake Chabot is beautiful. The paths close to the lake are fairly, though not entirely flat. The other hiking trails are mostly pretty steep, but you are then rewarded with gorgeous views. It is important to remember that there are mountain lions in the park....More

No, unfortunately not. There are many on bikes due to trails but they come on or bring their own.
