Thought we would stay in Carpinteria while visiting friends and family so rented a tiny studio with our two dogs. They've decided that this beach is the place to dump truck load after truck load of mud, Rock's and drainage from the flooded drainage ditches...More

This beach was not crowded at all. Quiet, peaceful and just a chance to appreciate the beauty that the ocean has to offer.

Pacific ocean. Clean sandy beach strewn about with seaweed shells and driftwood. A lone seal is bobbing amoungst the breaking waves about 20 feet out searching for breakfast as the first rays of the sun trickle and glean over the crests of the dunes to...More

Great place for a family trip. I was there in a day trip with my husband. Such a fun little getaway! Not too far from downtown Santa Barbara, shopping and dining.

That's what there slogan is. Because the beach faces south it keeps northern storms and swells from. There is a great campground within walking distance to all the towns great restaurants and shops.

Wonderful beach for toddlers and children. Driftwood structures are fun the beach is shallow, and there is a state campground nearby as well as wonderful eateries within walking distance if you don't wan to cook.

Easily accessible beach with low-key vibe. Lots of families enjoying the waterfront. A few volleyball nets set up and the State Park pavilion off the parking lot has restrooms for use.

Just got back and Carp claims to be the the safest beach in the world. There hasn't been a recorded attack of a white shark in Carp. I would bring coconut oil and baby powder for the tar you might get on your feet.

There are no hotels on the beach-just condo rentals. I don't know which spa you are talking about. Sorry.
