surf and ocean outstanding

It was a clear and windy day and the surf was amazing. The November sun was making the waves glisten and the drive was amazing.

We were fortunate as there wasn't a lot of traffic so parking at several stops was not a problem. Several stops were very interesting and picturesque. Some suggested stops like Spanish Beach was just a beach. They talked about white sand, well they have never been to Panama City, Florida. In our travels we haven't seen white beaches to beat... I drive this route many times a week as I work and live here. It does not get better. The view changes constantly depending on weather, sky's , fog and lighting. The real estate is always fun to check out too Bike and walk along the coastal trails. Park... sit and watch the view for hours.

We drive the 17-mile scenic route each time we visit and are never disappointed. This visit was blessed with an exceptionally sunny day for mid-November so we had gorgeous views and welcoming breezes as we stopped and walked at several points along the way. Traffic was light while picnic areas made it enjoyable to linger and truly enjoy the sights... More

Spend a day on this iconic drive ( the $10 fee is worth it, plus they reimburse you in the restaurants if you spend $30, which is not hard to do). Beauty abounds, picnic on the beach, rent bikes from Spanish Bay Resorts, can't afford golf at Pebble, play par three Peter Hay, with great views of Point Lobos. Stop... More

Second time I've done this drive and It keeps getting better!!! My husband is playing in a golf tournament so I decided to take the drive solo. Stopped at every stop (21 of them) and took in God's majestic beauty! Saw thousands of seals and sea lions. Sea birds everywhere. Blue skies and crashing waves and native plants on gorgeous... More

17 Mile Drive is a must see. Drive into this very upper class community that boasts the finest golf courses on the planet including Pebble Beach. The ocean views as well as the marvelous architecture of this portion of the California coast is total awe.

17-mile drive is another tourist spot where u cannot miss. Total 18 stops and each one bring u a different thrill about the nature. If u like sunset, that's the place u must visit. Lone Cypress has been there for more than 250 years, u can feel the will or power it goes against the raging ocean.
