We stopped through on our way to Santa Cruz for the Packers vs 49ers Preseason game. Go Pack Go! We had no time to shop, we just wanted to walk through. Lots of little quirky and charming shops and a few cute places to eat.

When there while staying at the mission inn. They have a lot of interesting unique shops. Including an Ace, Safeway and Starbucks.

Cute place; nothing cheap, but it's Carmel. Great eating places and some very nice window shopping for lots of nick nacks. Very clean center.

Home to everything from a very large Starbucks with great service to one of the best indie bookistores, River House Books, to a fresh juice bar, to Spencers' - a beautifully stocked card and stationary store. Great stop, away from the tourists.

When in Carmel and want to get things for the week-end (snacks, picnic goods), we have stopped at Safeway to get things for the week-end. There are small restaurants here; several of which we have dined at. In general, they are your casual enjoyable lunch or dinner type places - not fine dining- but fine for a meal. There are... More

It's unfortunate to find yet another shopping village with a bunch of empty storefronts. The only frozen yogurt shop on the Monterey Peninsula still exists! There are still some nice restaurants and a coffee shop, as well as a Bundy cake specialty shop and a bookstore. I hope they survive.

We love going to Crossroads for the variety of shops and services. There are various restaurants as well as a Yogurt shop, Bundt Cake shop (new), a couple of coffee houses, Carmel Roasting Company (been there forever) and Starbucks (new). There is a wonderful little book store (semi Shop Around The Corner feel) and a lot of little boutiques and... More

Good variety of local shops, very friendly merchants. Worth a look, especially Weber's Jewelers.
