Happened to be driving by on a trip along the coast and could not pass up fields of flowers. It was gorgeous, even though not at peak. We paid for the tractor ride, but could have walked. The sweet pea maze smelled incredible. Overall I...More

Southern California's hidden treasure. I surprised my husband and took him there yesterday for his birthday. We enjoyed and recommend the tractor ride. My husband loved the ice cream, strawberry shake AND strawberry shortcake! The nursery was amazing. Thank goodness the sweet pea maze smelled...More

We visited the Flower Fields in March and there were just acres of gorgeous blooming ranunculus! I would recommend taking the wagon ride to the fields and then walking back down. Give yourself about an hour and a half to see everything and don't miss...More

I thought the flower fields were very pretty to look at but not sure I would spend the money to walk around them. It seems to be more kid friendly. They take you around on a tractor through the fields.

This place is only open for a few months of the year, closing on Mother's Day as the blossoms die off. The rows of color are astounding. One section I really enjoyed was created by the Master Gardeners of San Diego. Various plants are grouped...More

The flower fields were beautiful. They had an America flag built with flowers. They also have hay rides being pulled tractors which is fun for the kids. It is a great place to take pictures.

Such a beautiful place to visit if you love flowers. The fields are planted in different stages so you have blooming flower fields for a few months. You should spend the $5 for the wagon ride around the property so you can see it all...More

I think they plan for a succession of blooming fields for several months beginning in March.
