Visited the Carlsbad Flower Fields while vacationing. The masses amount and different flowers was amazing and the views were pleasing to the eye. A nice stop just off of I - 5.

I understand that places to charge for the venue, yet this is part of a large commercial nursery...not an amauzement park. I love beautiful photo ops too. Yet, the price for walking around a large nursery is outtrageous. You have been warned. There are many...More

Down here in Carlsbad to take grandson to Legoland and was hoping that the flowers were still in bloom. Looks like they just cut them back a week or so ago. They still have an American flag of flowers on the corner of Airport and...More

This must be seen in Spring when the flowers are at full bloom! Great day outing with friends. There are nearby places to eat and shop. Plus the garden connected to the fields is a good one.

Delightful walk through acres of flowers. Timing is everything; best in early spring. No need to take the tractor ride; the walk around the fields is easy and very pleasant.

Lovely flowers for acres, wagon ride around perimeter, gift shop, lemonade stand, panning for gemstones they plant in buckets of dirt for $5. Not much else for a high entrance fee.

I think San Diego Botanical Gardens, 4 freeway exits to the south from the Flower Fields, is a much more rewarding experience at the same admission price. However, it's possible Groupon has an offer for the Flower Fields... More

They offer a senior discount.
Do you have to buy tickets in advance online? Or is it possible to buy them when you get there?
