A true quaint village. Restaurants, sidewalk cafes, jewelry stores, ice cream shops etc. line the street. A lovely place to stroll and window shop both day and night. Parking is plentiful both on the street and in lots behind the shops.

There is so much in this town, take your time, and browse over a few days. Farmers market is on Wed. and there is parking in many places, but this is best experienced while walking along.

Carlsbad Village has a charming street with many interesting little shops. We had good time exploring and enjoyed what the farmers market had to offer.

The shops and restaurants are nice but we were disappointed that the beach is not dog freiindly. We ate at a dog friendly cafe and shopped but there isn't much more to do.

The shops in the village close early at 5:00. The outlet mall that isn't far away would be the only stores open until 9:00pm.
