Very beautiful beach with great sunsets. We enjoyed walking in the ocean and then sitting and enjoying the sun disappearing into the ocean.

The city and parks system do a great job of maintaining this stretch of coastline. One of the few places where there is still free parking. Peak season expect to use pay parking nearby or drive around to find an open spot.

My husband and I explored the coast as we drove to Anaheim from San Diego. The beach was very clean with just minimal seaweed but free from trash despite not seeing many garbage cans. We walked 2 miles and enjoyed the sand between our toes.

We spent the day on the beach and felt comfortable to leave our chairs and towels as we went up for lunch. The grassy area upstairs was great for the dogs and the ocean breeze.
