Good lifts with attentive staff running them. The snow was amazing per usual for Niseko. The top of the mountain offers steeper terrain and gate access, if properly equipped, where you can access some unbelievable powder tree skiing!

Truly awesome skiing. From beginner to expert it has it all. #Niseko the powder is next level. No more skiing in Europe for me.

This is a great place to ski or learn to ski. The snow is wonderful. This is also less crowded compared to grand hirafu and will need to short drive if you are staying near to the town.

It is not so crowed. Looks like over 50% of the visitors are from either Singapore or Hong Kong. The cafe nearer to the lift is cheaper.

We had tried Harazano and the Hirafu ski fields before we tried Annapuri. If you have any inexperienced skiers, this is definitely the pick. Less crowds and big wide and gentle slopes to learn on. If you have a group with mixed levels of skill...More

Great ski area offering something for everyone with good access to the back gates for the more adventurous and good areas for kids learning to take their first turns. Doesn’t have the hussle and bussle of Hirafu so that can be good if that’s what...More

Skiing Annupuri is amazing! What's really fabulous is that you can ski across from Upper Hirafu. Suits beginners through to advanced skiers and the gondola gives a great birds eye view over the ski fields. On days when the conditions are less than their best,...More

Fantastic resort for experiencing Japow (Japanese Powder) Well organised with great locations for food at the bottom of the slopes. Includes night snowboarding/skiing under flood lights. Within walking distance of the town as well. Great off-piste riding, but make sure you are off-piste trained and...More

The slope is good for immediate and beginner. Advanced Skier will feel a bit bored doing skiing here unless going to the top of the mountain. There are ski lift that bring Skiers to advance slope at Hirafu side of the Mountain.

Usually, all official ski activities will start mid Dec. It may start snowing in end Nov or early Dec but it may not be sustained and many of the snow activities outlets may not be opened.
