Had a chance to visit after the high season (Jan-Feb) around the 3rd week of March. The weather was nice and the atmosphere was mellow and laid back. Very few people were present on the mountain and only had to share the gondola a couple...More

Great view of Yotei Mountain with various courses for different levels. Late March was not good season for the quality of snow. Not the power snow I remember. Good thing is there are many English speaking instructors for adults and children.

Loved this slope particularly for beginners like us. At some times, we were the only family on the slopes. The instructors at Moiwa ski school were great - patient, thoughtful and very good with our two kids.

Me and my friend spent 8 nights at the resort doing snowboard and ski. As beginners, we both prefer the slopes in the Grand Hirafu area then Niseko Village, as the slopes in Hirafu are much wider for us in practicing turns. The slopes in...More

Stayed here for 13 days for some excellent skiing. The real benefit is that if wind, sun or rain make one field poor you have options. Just caught the end of great powder and starting to warm up mid March. Plenty of different run difficulties...More

We visited at the beginning of March and the slopes were empty. Really enjoyed skiing here and it is easy to travel between the resorts.

Niseko is known for it's powder and in February, it didn't disappoint. Beginners need to be aware that a lot of the runs that are posted as beginners runs (green), should actually be intermediate runs (Red in Japan, Blue in most other countries). Many of...More

I have skied all over North and south America. This was a great treat. The terrain is advanced at it's steepest with something for all levels of skiers. We did get 3 days of Japanese powder. That was great. There were many foreigners on the...More

This was our 4th year. The ski instructors are really great with kids. Group ski classes available up to age 13 and run from 8:30-3:30 with hour for group lunch. Lift tickets and lunch included, so it is good value. Private classes available 10-3 with...More

Hi, you can also try renting an apartment in Niseko - there are supermarkets in town and it is cheaper than eating at hotels all the time. Air bnb has a lot of options which is what we will probably do next time. Just make... More

If you are an advanced skier then contact the powder hounds website, there’s plenty of off-piste and Back Country adventures to be had. Enjoy your stay there, we did, awesome snow this year.
