If one wants to walk in nature the paro river is lovely although toomuch trush around. Clear water all the way.

Visit to Bhutan in this winter with severe cold wave
On the way to Thimphu from paro on 3rd Jan 2020 we have seen this spot. Nevertheless to mention that the scenic beauty is awasome like Post Card photo. Local people syas as Paro Chu.

Lot of garbage, good for birdwatching

Natural Beauty at its Best...
Once in Paro ant time you go around you will always be closed to river paro. The natural beauty and the scenic landscapes are truly amazing.

this is a good place to just enjoy the earth. it is wonderful . the roads are very curvey. it can make you sick. but i would not trade it for anything..

Great Drive across the river
While your sight seeing in Paro, as your driver to drive across the roadside of the Paro River. Had a good time in the evening with a drive.

Beautiful
Lovely river flowing through the valleys. Hydroelectric plants on each end. Bhutan sells the electricity to India!

Float trip on the Mochu
We took a guided float trip. a nice way to see the River valley at River level after traveling the high roads and looking down into the valley. Fun and relaxing

Paro River
"Paro Chhu" in Bhutan means "Paro River". It is one of the biggest river in Bhutan and it is flowing in Western Part of Bhutan. Paro town is situated on the banks of this river. Hydro electric power is generated from this river.
