In case you miss Namgyal Chorten in Punakha, this is the place to be to see all the Titular Gods. Don't forget to see evening lightings over there.

This is a hidden gem located behind Bong de Goma resort. Very few people know about the locked monastery and trust me it is not easily found on google. We chanced to visit the private temple late evening around 4 and were indeed lucky to meet a priest who happened to open the gates to us and some locals

This magnificent Buddhist monastery on the hills near Paro is worth visiting because of the beautiful decorations. My private tour was perfectly organized and coordinated by Bhutan Personal Tours and Treks. I was very fortunate because Tsering Penjor was my private guide.

I wasn't sure then, if it was a monastery, an institute or a museum. The place exhibits the culture, wildlife and history of the paradise that Bhutan is. The place is quite well maintained.

This Monastery is away from Paro city near the airport. Situated on higher level u can view clear view of airport as well a Paro valley from Monestry. The diety is Guru Padmasambhava temple is well decorated with painting of Lord BHUDDA. But timing is from 6 am to 11am and 2pm to 5 pm. If u stay in Bongde Goma hotel this temple is 150m distance . Can visit if you have time.

I felt that it was another replica of paradise on earth. The inner design is so great and wonderful with huge statue of Guru Tshen Geyed (8 menifestation of Guru). The most typical statute that I found in this holy shrine is female goddess and eight Bodhisatvas.

This is a hidden gem located behind Bong de Goma resort. Very few people know about the locked monastery and trust me it is not easily found on google. We chanced to visit the private temple late evening around 6 and were indeed lucky to meet a priest who happened to open the gates to us and some locals. As we entered the ground level we were awestruck by the opulent Buddha smiling at us in peace. The aura, the lighting, the gold plating, the little statuettes !!! We were permitted to enter the 1st floor temple area and were left speechless with the statue of Lord Buddha and the decorations. The priest smiled and led us to the 2nd floor of the temple and what we saw was a stunning statue of Lord Buddha in a pose which we have never seen before ! Truly we felt blessed to see these wonderful images and seek blessings of Lord Buddha. The views of Paro city and the airport from here were amazing with the wind blowing through our hair. Multi color lighting by night and the view from our resort of this monument were mesmerizing. Hats off to the family/trust which has made this monastery - truly a labor of love and devotion !!!
