During our stay at the Borinquen we decided to try horseback riding to the hidden waterfalls and ATV to lookout mountain. Our tour guide was Oscar. He was the best guide we ever had and we have traveled around the world. Oscar is a very fun loving person and truly enjoyed showing you the beautiful resort. He even took plenty... More

This was an unexpected gem. All the casitas are spacious with tons of character. We only stayed here for one night and did an incredible horse trip with Fernando to two hidden waterfalls. The horses were beautiful with tons of spirit. They have over 100 horses on property and they are well taken care of. Highly recommend doing the horse... More

My husband and I decided to organise our own trip to Borinquen with another couple instead of the one from our airline and it was a much cheaper way of doing it. We pre-booked the adventure at our hotel the day before. We hired a car and drove for hour & half to find this amazing location...we were all so... More

This hotel offers a variety of activities to do or just lay back in their natural sauna or mud bath then go directly to their hot springs. Or if you want a much thrilling activity, a 12 zip lines ride is just perfect.

We arranged a zip lining tour through Freddy Montero and this is where we were taken. When we arrived, we were given a fruit punch and given a menu to order our lunch. Yes, there were a couple of vegetarian options! We then went horse riding to where the zip lining starts. It was the first time for most of... More

My experience at the resort was a day tour on the zip line, lunch and then mud baths which ending EXTREMELY BAD when a board snapped and my leg feel completely thru the deck. Management never once acknowledged me and had a worker at the reception desk take me to the hospital for X-rays. Luckily nothing was broken but a... More

Rooms were large, clean with A/C. Pool and springs were great. Would definitely recommend and/or stay here again. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to park at a common lot and walk or shuttle to the restaurant or pool. Other than that it was perfect.

Did a private tour through Pininos. What a great experience, good way to keep the teens occupied and worn out for a day. Horseback riding, hiking to hidden waterfalls, suspended bridges, mud bath, hot natural springs. All before noon. Get there early and get to the spa before the crowds arrive. We had the spa to ourselves, big group arrived... More
