I visited the museum with my son who is in the Air Force. We really enjoyed the tour of the museum and the airplanes that have been restored or are in the process . They have several planes that are still flying and you can pay to get a ride. I have added a ride in the P-51 Mustang to... More

I am a history buff, and stopped here and took a guided tour around the planes. Had a wonderful time, these guys do some fanstatic work keeping these old WWII planes operational. It's a great place to spend a few hours and learn something.

I was just riding by, then a small sign of the road "air museum" caught my attention! For 10 dollars donation it really deserves a stop, specially if you are a aviation addict.

Nice place to visit if you are a vintage WW2 aircraft enthusiast. Not a large place but an absolutely dedicated guide will walk you through the famous war aircraft of the era. Other than the US built, a few british, Japase and Russian aircraft are on display as well. Interesting fact is where they restore these machines to the former... More

I am a member of this great museum which lovingly restores and displays many great WWII planes including a B17,B25,P51,Spitfire, Grumman Wildcat and HellCat and many more. They have flyins of warbirds including Fifi the only flying B29. You can take rides which are pricey but worth it. Lots of great knowledgable volunteers around to give you a tour or... More

We drove up from Long Beach, CA. for the "Wings over Camarillo". Very informative and we met some WWII veterans, took pictures in NASA gear, vintage airplanes and the like.

Wandering past on the way to Point Mugu Missile Park, I noticed the sign for Camarillo Airport and the CAF Museum. Being an aviation enthusiast, I noted that we had to visit this place quickly in the morning before moving on our journey. My daughter and I finally left Camarillo half an hour after the place closed with a P-51... More

We spent a morning at the world war II museum. We had a very lovely woman who gave us a personal tour of the planes. Well worth the visit!

My friend was "over the top" visiting this attraction. He was given his own private tour of the planes and was amazed how many have been restored and flown. Although I understood little of their jargon, I know this is a fabulous "Living" Museum of planes from the past. Great visit!
