We chose Schramsberg Vineyards for our first tour of our second weekend day in St. Helena because it came highly recommended by a friend who are members of their wine club and because it was 3 miles from our hotel. Our party of three couples...More

This was something new for us. No Barrels, just bottles. There are lots of bottles ,for the wine is aged in the bottles. The caves were very interesting. Art was our guide and he did a great job. I learned a lot from him about...More

We have used Schramsberg bubbles to celebrate family milestones, so we loved finally getting to see how it all began. We had an outstanding tour guide who, as a former science teacher, really knew how the production process worked. The tasting was delicious, intimate, and...More

We are big champagne people and have heard about Schramsberg. These are served in the White House since the 1970s. The caves are cool, but the wine tasting was horrible. Everyone was dumping the samples. They tasted like bad apple cider and very bitter. Maybe...More

This was an amazing tour, the man who lead it was a wealth of knowledge. The wine caves are amazing. The tasting did not disappoint and it surprised me as I wasn't expecting the Cabernet Sauvignon! Wow! it is worth the trip. Make more reds.

Shramsberg is a Napa Valley gem. We did our tour with Art who was engaging, informative and clearly enjoyed his job. We were taken on a tour through the caves where the sparkling is stored, shown the process of grape to cellar door and did...More

I am afraid not. They are very proud of their property and like to showcase the wines and the property.
