Schransberg was the first winery we visited in Napa and one of our favorites. The road up to the winery looks like a private drive and is hard to spot. Actually, it is the road to the original owners' home and the winery, and it winds...More

The history of this winery is incredible. We went into the caverns to learn how the bubbly was made and it was an education in and of itself. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Not to mention their great tasting products. I was impressed!...More

We booked the cave tasting to celebrate our 20th anniversary. When we arrived an employee was outside taking a personal call and said to go inside. Once inside the employee there said the employee (outside who just sent us in) would check us in. Not...More

This is one of the original Napa vineyards and the home and some of the buildings have been restored to their original splendor. The tour, which includes the caves where the sparkling wines are made and aged, is very interesting and well worth your time....More

The coolest tour I've done in Napa. You get to walk in the caves and the tour guide thoroughly suscribes the intricate method of storing, making and bottling the bubbles. Very good quality!

This activity should be number 1 on your Napa Valley bucket list. Short, informative, delicious, and simply beautiful. The history of the cave, Davies family, and subsequent modifications/endeavors are fascinating. We felt comfortable the entire tour and gained a new appreciation for sparkling wines. Wherever...More

I have done Mumms, Domaine Districts, yet Schrams has a class of its own. I think travel alone, or with a few, not for larger than 10 people but worth every dollar. A must
