Visited with my husband and two daughters, ages 18 & 22. The grounds were meticulously maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed the geyser. The goats were fun to feed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was my daughter was disappointed that none of...More

We visit Calistoga a lot. There were many times in our childhood we've wanted to check out Old Faithful, but never wanted to pay the fee to get in. Then, a few years ago we did and went in. Then it was like, "that's it"??...More

We saw the Geyser "shooting up" while on a bike ride. We diverted the ride to go see the geyser. If your children have not seen a Geyser yet or not been to Yellowstone, this is a decent introduction to the marvels of nature and...More

Had a great afternoon here. It was interesting to see the little museum, watch the geyser, and see the animals. It wasn't really busy, the rain and season seemed to keep people away. It worked for us as we didn't have to fight to take...More

We stopped to see this Old Faithful Geyser and were a bit surprised by the high cost to enter. Because of rain, the geyser was going off every five minutes. It wasn't all that impressive. The ladies restroom was out of order so the only...More

Having visited the geyser at Geyser in Iceland, we were still thrilled to see Old Faithful spouting sulphurous super-heated water 100 feet into the air. It was fizzing away every five minutes or so - apparently the frequency depends on the amount of rain -...More

I've been to this attraction around 8 years ago. At that time, there were a lot of fainting goats (maybe 20) that did faint, on cue -- everytime. NOT THIS TIME. Tried as we (and others) did, no amount of provocation caused any of the...More

The Geyser was quite respectable and was going off every 5 minutes. We almost passed out when we paid the admittance fee. It was quite expensive for 4 seniors and 2 children. I think it was over $75 to get in. It ended up fine,...More

When traveling with children/teens, you need to consider their tastes in entertainment. Napa Valley is geared toward adults. The Wine Train is fun for adults; but, children may not appreciate the Calif. food/wine served... More
