We went to Sterling with a guarded nature. The winery was sold more than once to conglomerates (LLC's), and commercialization has done nothing for quality of the wine. But.. we wanted to ride the tram, and see the "palatial" property at the top. We hadn't...More

We had such an amazing time visiting Sterling. From the lift ride up the mountain to the roof top deck at the end of our tour. Great place to sit and have a glass of wine and take in the beauty of Napa Valley.

We went during harvest which really added to it - I think it may be a bit dull without that experience. The view are awesome and the wine is excellent. Definitely worth a stop.

This is perhaps the best winery to get a birds eye view of Napa Valey's beauty. Take the tram up to the tour of the wine making process.
