It was a beautifully sunny day, and there were many visitors. We enjoyed a picnic, and then went to the overlook which invites one to take the path to the bottom of the falls. It is always exciting!

Amazing waterfalls, very unusual, with the water flowing from the walls as opposite from the top of the waterfalls. There is a 1.1 mile round trip hike, which worth the time. The hike is beautiful, especially in the morning. You also cross two pictures bridges....More

Thank you for a great rating and review. Indeed, the geology of this volcanic area is interesting and the falls resulting from those volcanic layers unusual. Come back when you can! McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association

Without a doubt, the nicest of the 5 state parks we visited while we were visiting Northern California. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were excellent. The bathhouse/restrooms were in perfect condition, unlike one of the other parks we visited. Of course ,...More

Not much I can in the way of the beauty of this place. With that being said, we rented a cabin. Note there is no power in the cabins. Also very noisy camp ground. If it wasn't for the awsome falls and river and lake....would...More

The falls had so much water in summer with just the source from Mt Burney, in other seasons with rain, melting of snow etc will have abundance of water. Must visit if you are in the area
