if you are looking for a fancy tasting room on a trip for wine tasting this is not your place but if you are merely seeking good italian style wines to sample, i suggest the stop. knowledgeable staff in italian grapes and wines are a big assist in bringing their local offerings into focus

Had no idea about this winery but we are SO GLAD we went. I couldn't believe my tastebuds. I had goosebumps. Seriously. The choices the server, Helen, made were varied and sublime. She let us share a tasting and still charged us $10. She was not pushy toward their wine club in fact, I bought several bottles because the wine... More

What a surprise winery. Italian produced in the valley. And such an extensive amount produced! Including slivowitz!! This is a small shack kind of tasting room, literally off the driven path. The pourer was older and had a sense of humor. Nothing fancy here. There must have been 10 wines on the tating flight w maybe 3 that I liked.... More

Celebrating our 29th Wedding Anniversary, my wife and I were visiting from San Antonio doing the "Sideways" Wine Tour from the movie. We drove down Santa Rosa Road like Miles and Jack had done in the movie. A beautiful drive and at the end of the road sits Mosby Winery. Not officially part of the "Sideways" Wine Tour but a... We stopped at Mosby at the end of a day touring the Santa Ynez wine region. We noticed it was right off 101 and thought - why not. It was a great ending to our day. Bill and Jeri obviously love what they do and are fun folks to talk with. They are a bit unique in their focus is... More

Opened at 10am on the Saturday we visited, we got there at 10:20 and were the only ones there. The servers were great, very informed and made the experience even better. The light show in the bathroom lived up to the hype. Definitely worth the visit. Oh, and they liked my Canadian money...just wouldn't accept it for payment.

We have been a member of thier club for around 15 years. Each year we have gone to the 4th of July BBQ for a great lunch and retiring of American Flags by local military color guard. There wines are moderately priced and of excellant quality with Italian Vintages. We are partial to the reds a few whites are also... More

Mosby Winery is moments from the highway so easy to find, has a pretty tasting room, good wines (although my wife, who tasted them (I don't drink), didn't buy any) and cool storied labels (that you can read about elsewhere) but the unusual bathroom was the main draw for me. Just dark enough to cause concern (if you know what... More

You must do a tasting there! Small tasting room so if you have a party of 6 or more you must get a reservation. The label painter has a great story! Chanel #5. Look for Louise who works the tasting room. She is awesome!
