We loved driving round Galetta Meadows looking and finding these stunning statues and got some incredible photos for our trouble. It was a very hot day and I wouldn't have liked to go on foot but we saw most of them. Kind of like hunting...More

We had an excellent view of the meteor showers along with the four planets. It was hot during the day but the nights were beautiful.

This trip was the second time I was in Borrego Springs to see the sculptures. The first time I didn't get pictures of all of them, this time I hope I did. There are 131 of them. Bumpy dirt roads criss-cross the area on both...More

100+ metal art installations in and around Borrego Springs...they make a stunning backdrop in the desert. Easy to drive between, we loved them

Galleta Meadows is a very large area and spread out with over a hundred metal sculptures. These sculptures are quite a sight, very detailed and interesting. Great for photography.

Google this place for details on the art and the artist if you want the very interesting details. But even if you don’t read up on it, this is a must-see if you are in the Anza Borrego area. I didn’t count them, but there...More

Amazing collection of metal art work. All of this in the middle of the desert. Anyone staying in the area and want to see some amazing talent must see this.

These sculptures were beautiful, but they're literally in the middle of no where. The drive out to these was so challenging that we didn't spend the time we should have to appreciate all of these. We also didn't like that the sculptures were so spaced...More

There are hundreds of metal sculptures all over the desert and the town of Borrego Springs. You Can spend a few hours driving around exploring them or just go into town to view the stagecoach and horses.

No fees. The sculptures are placed along the roads and you just pull off the road to see them and drive on to the next one. I have a small car and was a little nervous at getting stuck in the soft sand, but it wasn't a... More

The sculptures are either visible from the paved road, or a very short distance off the road. (like 100 feet or so). Most of the time the dirt/sand roads are easily passable by care. This is NOT a 4-wheel drive adventure... More
