Stopped in for a bite to eat in Boron and saw the Aerospace Museum across the street. Went over after lunch to tour the place and it was locked! Not only that, no sign indicated when it was open! Seems to be a low budget...More

This museum operates on a VERY limited schedule so it is essential to plan ahead if you want to see the treasures on the inside. Outside the exhibits include an F-4 Phantom and a SAAB 35 Draken so I was quite happy having never seen...More

If you are interested in experimental flight history, a visit to this museum is TOTALLY worth your time. There is so much history here in the form of artifacts and photographs. It is a very cluttered space where you can easily lose track of time....More

This museum is off the highway in Boron and was NOT open. People reported that is was open only randomly when the guy wants to come there SO be prepared. Try the phone to see-760-762-6600. The Boron Museum is open next door.

A small but growing collection of air/space from nearby Edwards AFB. Traces of test pilots, NASA and general aviation.. Neither thorough nor comprehensive but a little with a lot of interest and a vocal staff. Donation appreciated.

Almost overwhelming amount of aviation goodies....they need a much bigger space (hanger) to place everything. Great info, great memorabilia

This is a very small museum that is next door to the 20 mule team Museum. There are a few air plains in the front yard. The building is very small with a few interesting things but I was not impressed with the stop.

We went to the very interesting smaller size museum. They have nice aviation exhibits. I especially liked the historic photographs. We spoke to the staff on how they acquired the collection and how they sorted out to try to make space to show it all....More

I, especially, loved the exhibit of the U.S. Discovery 2 Rocket Boat- described, by Lee Taylor himself as his " Piloted, guided water missile +
