Incredible experience

First visit. It was so uncrowded, but you could clearly see the care all the birds, marsupials and reptiles receive. An absolute pleasure to visit

Wow! Cuddle with koalas, hand feeding wallabies and kangaroos, as well as exotic birds. This place is small but kept us (including teenagers) busy for 5 non stop hours. This is one of the highlights of the trip right up there with swimming open water with dolphins. Great white sharks cage dive here we come.

We visited on a really hot day. By early afternoon many of the animals were hidden away resting which is fair enough! They were quite active in the morning though. We lined up for quite a while to hold a koala but it was well worth it!

Really fantastic wildlife park. Lots of different animals to see. Make sure you find out when they bring the koala's out for everyone to hold. It really is a fantastic experience and doesn't cost any more. Really great day out

I can't beleive I had not gone here before. I was so impressed. Animals are accessable and very well cared for. Park is so well looked after. It is small enough to get around but big enough for plenty of room for all. Great for the kiddies to run about with paths and rails but not over done. One nice... More

We had a lovely day at the Gorge Wildlife park. There were so many enclosures to see. It was a little sad to see so many cages. The Leopard didn't look very happy, I felt sorry for him. But overall I really enjoyed the visit. Hopefully in the future they can get rid of the cages. I would pay a... More

I brought my Canadian girlfriend here to get up close with some kangaroos. The walk through enclosure was great and she had a wonderful time feeding and patting the roos. Sadly it was all downhill from there... The prisons these animals are contained in are deplorable and I agree with every negative review this place has received. You can indeed... More

Thanks for your feedback. All comments positive and negative are taken on board by management. I would like to address a number of comments. Firstly, the Otter and Penguin ponds were empty because they are routinely cleaned and replaced with fresh water. They are never left empty for a long period of time. Water troughs and bowls are cleaned and... More

We took our 3 grandchildren there last week and they had a fabulous time. I think it is better value for money than the zoo and I told this to one of the staff. They fed the many friendly animals and enjoyed those in cages. Our oldest grandchild was old enough to hold a koala and that made his day.... More
