This is a great beach to swim at but the waves can be a bit treacherous at times. We have been dumped a few times with lots of sand left in your swimmers. This beach is preferable than Scarborough where there is quite an undesirable...More

City Beach and its close neighbour Floreat Beach are much less developed than Scarborough to the north or Cottesloe to the south. The old surf club is completely demolished at the moment so it is a bit of a building site for now. There is...More

City beach is one of the cleanest beaches in Perth. Having a sunset dinner is breath taking and well worth the stay. We travel around half hour to come to this beach and every time it is well worth the drive. Swim between the flags...More

I love City Beach, its always clean and has great facilities. The sand is beautiful but the surf can be quite rough with big dumping waves so one needs to be aware of that when swimming.

Really enjoy Clancy's, being able to smell and watch the ocean. Have only had a nice meal and good service.

Hi Mrs M, search "Peasholm Dog Beach". It's a lovely strip between Floreat beach and Scarborough beach (Brighton Rd).

Hi if you take an Uber taxi it takes 19 minutes or if you take the number 82 bus from the Perth Busport it takes 38 minutes. It is approx 11.0 km distance from Murray St to City Beach Hoping this helps :)
