Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.

Beautiful park right off Rodeo Drive. Great for walking or reading a book. Almost no one around - on a weekend in July. The turtles are so cute too! Just watch the cars when you're walking into the park, the crossing is not pedestrian friendly and cars fly.

After completing the Mulholland Drive expedition, returned to Beverly Hills, and went looking for a place to relax for a few hours prior to the long drive home. Located the Will Rogers Memorial Park on Sunset Boulevard, just across the street from the Beverly Hills Hotel. This small triangle shaped 5-acre public park was constructed in 1912 and opened in 1915 and has provided a refuge to visitors and residents with a place to relax after a stressful day shopping or exploring the wonders of Beverly Hills. This small park has a rose garden, numerous palm and dragon trees and several miles of winding paved paths as well as restroom facilities. The Margaret J. Anderson Fountain sits in the middle of a lily pond located in the center of the park. Circular pond is full of turtles and colorful koi fish. Lots of shade trees and benches throughout the park. Ideal for just sitting and relaxing. Great location for a picnic with family or friends. Enjoyed a leisurely 1½ hours walk around and observing the wonders of this remarkable park. If you are tired of window shopping, or just need a place to relax, strongly recommend a visit to the Will Rogers Memorial Park.

Feels like one of the magical parks you find in Europe. Small, but very well-maintained...this space is relaxing and comparatively quiet. Recommend it for a picnic or some quiet reflection

Lovely place to go walking/hiking. Gives you a sense of the old West thru Hollywood eyes -- Will Rogers' house, for example, is there.

A beautiful, relaxing and historic park in Beverly Hills.
Across the street from the Beverly Hills Hotel, so the park is in a prime location.
With a fountain, water, flowers and plenty of space, it is for the entire family.
Enjoy.

There are few kinder, wiser actors and celebrities associated with Hollywood than Will Rogers whose humble beginnings he never forgot. He would be grateful for this memorial park.

Its a really a lovely little park. Its right opposite the famous Beverly Hills hotel. Nice for relax, picnic or walk. We live near by so walk our dog and cat here sometimes. Its usually not busy. The fountain has some really beautiful colorful carps in it and little turtles :-). Sometimes you can see green parrots here. Its surrounded by roads, so during the day it can get pretty busy. Best is at night or on sunny weekend day.
