Great hiking trails and views of the east bay hills as well as the whole bay area. Also a good place to take young kids - carousel, petting zoo, swimmable lake.

If you love nature and want to spend a day hiking, sauntering around the lake, and catch up on some activities like taking the steam train, etc, it will be a day well spent.
