We stopped here to do a hike and the park is really nice. There are some great views of the bay along with the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge. The trails are well marked. There were a lot of wild flowers blooming also. We stopped at the botanical gardens and that was really beautiful. Also had a picnic lunch... More

The carousel ride was fun with only three of them on it. Then we went to lake anza. The trail around lake started plain, nut got more and... More

Tilden park is a continuation of the Hill-Parks that ring the eastern hills bordering San Francisco bay. It is very beautiful and relaxing, it has great walks, a steam train for kids of all ages, and views in many directions.

An easy to access park with many picnic areas, a swimming lake, a golf course and driving range, minature train amd pony rides, play fields, even a classic merry-go-round. A true jewell of the east bay and part of the extensive East Bay Regional Park system

There are many trails to walk in Tilden, some with terrific views of the bay. Lots of plant life endemic to the region. A pony ride and a beautiful merry-go-round. A bus goes up there or it's easy to drive and places to park in different parts of the park. I live in Berkeley and have been to Tilden Park... More

Those of us living in the San Francisco Bay Area, especially the in east bay are lucky to have TIlden Regional Park along with many other parks making up the East Bay Regional Park system. Tilden is 2000+ acres of nature with many walking, hiking, and biking trails. Some trails connect with Wildcat Canyon and Sibley Volcanic Regional Parks as... More

Over the years, we've gone here many times, and we always go to a new section. This time we went on a Thursday a.m. hike which bicyclists use, too. We chose that one to avoid the mud on some of the other trails. As others report in their reviews, there's much to see and do here. And there's plenty to... More

There is a micro climate there. So much to see! There is a rose garden, a steam train, many hiking trails, a lake, animal farm, even the ride is amazing with it's spectacular views.
