Quiet, uncrowded, easy parking, with interesting paths and a variety of vegetation. I'm no gardener and I didn't find a lot to interest me, but there were people clearly enjoying the quiet and beauty of the site.

It may be a little out of the way, but worth looking for. I go every few months to enjoy the challenging seasons.

Our granddaughter, who lives in Berkeley, took us to this delightful park, The flowers were absolutely amazing! It is a lovely park, with many paths among the varied plantings. From on point, there is a fantastic view of the Bay,

We enjoyed walking around the grounds to see what they are working on. There are plenty of benches, so we bring our lunch along, too.

Free with ample parking. You can escape the frantic East Bay here. Wonderful "kitchen garden" often satisfies my needs, but there are also extensive grounds to explore. NEVER CROWDED.

Get off the beaten path and enjoy this relaxing garden- which was free last time I was there. It is the "lab" for UC students.

It's a little out of the way, but a nice outing if you like gardens. Nothing really fancy, but extensive grounds with some water features.
