I like the atmosphere at 4th Street. When I was there yesterday to complete my order at Stain Glass Gardens I found a 20 minute parking space across from the store. I was thrilled and completed my business in less than 20 minutes.

4th street is white, boring and high-end. Sometimes it's nice to go somewhere white, boring and high-end because you know what you're gonna get. Like, let's say you need a really nice pair of shoes -- they've got that covered. Or a super nice present...More

Eclectic shops and dining venues. Great for an afternoon stroll with nice range of low-key dining spot-Bette's Diner a classic throwback.

Fourth Street has many restaurants that are not your usual fare. Lots of shops - books, clothing, Pete’s Coffee, Sur la Table, discount Crate and Barrel and much much more.

The 4th Street shopping street in Berkeley offers an eclectic array of clothing shops, gourmet food stores, a book store, small and unique businesses, and that rarity: a good amount of street/free parking. Gone are the days of warehouse-district prices, but you'll enjoy the wide...More

There is a wonderful array of interesting and trendy shops, but parking is horrendous, even in off hours. Valet parking seems to be creeping in (and where do the valets put them?). Whether it is computer stuff, fancy toys, scarves, or cards, we find ourselves...More
