I can remember going to the fox theater as a kid. It is so similar and nostalgic to this very day. If you get the opportunity to attend an eve t at the Fox, you'll enjoy it.

Facility , really pretty a hark back to yesteryear, comfortable seating. Lobby was crowded and was doing their best to handle the crowd, (concessions, tee shirt sales, and makeshift bar), we were there for Neil Young Crazy horse. The people working were cool but they...More

I hate the seating for a concert. It's like you walk into a movie theater in comparison and a live concert is going on but you have to be quiet and seated! No fun! Older people might enjoy the kick back feel of the theater,...More

Great old theater that is used for plays and events. Not a bad seat in the house. Street parking is all around but would encourage you to get there early to grab a prime spot (you can always walk a few blocks for a drink...More

....as George Day used to say back in the day. Lovely venue and nicer acoustics than other concert venues in town unless the artist insists on loudness instead of quality during there sound checks. I especially enjoy that you can get quality seats without paying...More

Saw the Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Fox and couldn't have been more pleased. Besides a wonderful concert, the Fox is a beautiful retro theater that is superb for live events.

Stopped here on a day when there were no performances but still a beautiful theater to stop by and take a look at. Located close to everything in the downtown Bakersfield area.

I do not know what sort of an event that you are talking about. A ticket will get you in the door and basically anywhere inside - but that would not include backstage (I think).
