Best to go on a Sunday when it is free. Nice to wander around and there are many and interesting sculptures set in the park, which once housed a spa.

Worth a detour away from the hustle and bustle of the town below, this is a tranquil garden, not so much for its plants, but for the sculptures. Take a look down on the site from the walls above too.

It's quite a long walk up to the gardens, check opening times as they shut at lunch time. I expected more of a botanical garden, the planting was a bit sparse and nothing out as it was the wrong time for flowers. Statues are good...More

A short walk down and up from the Paradore, is the princip gardens with their classic statues and well manicured lawns. Great views over the town also.

The plant life isn't labelled, there is no shade on a hot day and the sculptures grew very repetitive after you had seen about 7 of the 19 there were. It's pretty to stroll around on a cooler day, but don't be in a rush...More

These gardens are well worth the visit, and as already indicated make it part of the Tourist card for 5 days as for most of the attractions like these, that are in the town itself. For older people the steep steps going up as part...More

The sculptures and the garden are very nice, I really liked to stare these pieces of art... I wish I would had more time to stay, but it started to rain! I will go back definitely
