Loved the house, and the art was pleasant too

For a very modest fee (Euro 5, or 3 if over 65), you can spend a quiet hour or so wandering around this lovely house. It's on the busiest street of tourist shops, which makes the... read more

For a very modest fee (Euro 5, or 3 if over 65), you can spend a quiet hour or so wandering around this lovely house. It's on the busiest street of tourist shops, which makes the calm atmosphere inside even nicer. The house must have been very bling in its day, with the most wonderful art nouveau detailing everywhere, from... More

A highlight to our recent trip to Mallorca. A fairly small gallery, but contains original pieces by Miro, Picasso, Lautrec and others.

This is a delightful small house with art nouveau furniture and features, including a magnificent staircase. It is situated on the main shopping street, perhaps easy to miss. On the top floor is the main exhibition of paintings, including lesser works from some of the major artists. It is also worth lingering in the small garden where there are some... More

This gallery of modern art is a must see for anyone wanting a true art gallery experience. If its a hot day, or you've had enough of touristy stuff, go for the peaceful cooling beauty of the place, and enjoy all the lovely art work as well as the building itself which is amazing. My daughter and I loved it.

The modern art collection is very good - though not all would be everyone's taste - but the lovely house, rooms, furnishings and decoration are unforgettable.

What's worth seeing in this museum is the two very dimly lit Miro paintings and nearby Miro sculpture. The modern Art Deco interior is pleasant too. That's it. The rest of the collection is bad to mediocre modern art, mostly very derivative, and a few trivial drawings by name artists like Vlaminck. And you pay 5 euros each for this... More

The collection here is only minor. There are very few works by anyone well-known, and most of the art is derivative. Many of the rooms were poorly (and sometimes barely) lit and quite a few works had no attribution. There is one nice Miró sculpture and a few prints by him. The collection in the Sollér train station has about... More

Away from the busy central part of Soller is this quiet museum set in a grand old house, with an ultra modern extension. I'm no art expert but there was a mixed bag of art on offer. The rear garden has some interesting sculptures, and all in all worth an hour of your time if you want something different. We... More

A visit to this house is worth every second: an impressing tiny collection of sketches, drawings and prints of international artists!

I have no great liking for modern art and much of what's on show here struck me as meretricious - but not everything and the building itself is a gem. Worth a look.
