Lovely walk to a lovely waterfall

Definitely a must do if you are in the area... take time to see the WW1 Italian trenches on the way too.

its a short walk to this nice waterfall, the trail is well maintained and very easy to go. Also a loop is possible.

After lunch at Hisa Franko we drove over to the Kozjak Waterfalls hike and enjoyed it. It took about an hour round-trip and as we were starting late afternoon saw just a few other people on the trail.

Amazing natural beauty on a beautiful walk through the Soce valley! You can drive relatively close to the falls then hike if you have children or are hard of walking but be prepared to have shore feet / good balance (may be difficult for elderly or small children). I would recommend the entire hike of the area starting at the... More

This is an attraction that you must see in Slovenia. We were there on a rainy overcast day, but it was a great experience. The walk was a little long and the paths were rough and narrow. I would recommend it to everyone capable of doing it.

This short walk from the main road is an absolute must. Perfect for beginner hikers, the walking is not challenging but the waterfall and pool at the end is enchanting. There were also some unique boardwalks and timber ramps that added to the overall charm.

Well, you really need to make an effort to see this waterfall. Long walk, sharp angles, narrow tinny bridges but its worth the effort. Once you stand on the ramp (where only 2 more can stand there with you) the view is amazing. Not a very high or wide but the location is impressive.

The waterfall wasn't that spectacular but the walk to get there was quick and nice, across a long wooden suspension bridge with lovely river views. When we went it rained hard the night before so the water was quite murky. Bet it would be a refreshing swim on a hot summer day!

We saw a lot of waterfalls throughout our hiking trip in Slovenia, but this one, in particular, was very special......after a great hike to get there, we had to cross a couple of little bridges to actually walk into a cave- like area where this fall is located, and it's well worth the effort as we watched it cascade from...
