1,000 steps up was an interesting castle and awesome views. Explanations in signage in English were well done also. We spent over two hours going up, around and down. All four of us greatly enjoyed it

Planned to climb the stairs in the morning but it was drizzling, so we came back after lunch when the sun finally came out. Climbed the stairs and it got so warm with my heart pounding crazily halfway through. Just take it easy going up,...More

Palamidi castle was one of our highlights in nafplio. Huge fortress, one can easily spend 2-3 hours there. History is given in detail on the information board, make sure to read it, it adds to the charm of this place. The views from here are...More

A great way to kick off - walk up the 120/ stairs! But in the winter it closes at €pm as do all monuments.

It was challenge for mev to visit this place, a lot of stairs but I did it. If it's not working still you should climb and enjoy in that amazing view. Working hours until 14:45, price 4 euros (students with ID and u-18 youth FREE)

We drove up the hill. Spectacular view! The entrance fee was only €4. Must do! My boyfriend went down the stairs to go back. This was a bit dangerous. Mostly no fences. If you can, take the car up.

This vast and spectacular citadel stands on a 216m high outcrop of rock with excellent views of the sea and surrounding land. Do the climb in early morning and take water.

It’s a steep climb up the Fort which takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your fitness level but the views up are worth the effort. There is also a road up to the top for tourist coaches but nothing like going up the way the...More
