This beach is about 5 km distance from Plakias and if you have a car its only 5minutes to get there. Crystal blue waters and big coastline that you can choose your spot.

Long, beautiful beach. Fine sand, beautiful waters, enough space for all. Nudism at the very far end and also at the next beach, Ammoudi.

Chairs(2) and umbrella for reasonable price (€5 total). The beach has some nice restaurants in the back.

Easy, friendly, sunny - what more could you want on a holiday? Great cafes/restaurants right there for excellent food and refreshments.

There are probably better beaches elsewhere on the island but this was perfectly adequate for being a couple of minute's walk from our room, and with the option of relatively secluded spots available at each end.

Great sandy beach with fabulous restaurants nearby - best beach in the area so arrive early to get a good spot. parking is on the road next to the beach but will be tricky in peak summer!

Damnoni Beach is a lovely sandy beach with crystal blue water, but is very busy. You can park here then walk around to several other beaches which are smaller. Lots of good quality taverna's around as well.

No exactly (it is one inside the hotel which is there, Hapimag). But the nearest are in Plakias (and also in Lefcogia village in the way to Rethimno). Both are about five minutes with car.
