Damnoni is a nice long beach which offers everything a visitor might need. It haw many sunbeds to rent, many restaurant to eat and also service to the sunbeds for food ans drink.

I remember it fondly 30 years ago. There was one rustic taverna with a couple of rooms. No sun beds just unspoiled golden sand with nudist areas on the east. A lovely walk from undeveloped plakias with hosts of butterflies on the way. Oh tourism!

I would sum this lovely beach on this part of the island as follows: Big beach Well maintained Good location Peaceful Sun trap Refreshments What more can you ask for.

Very clean and easy to access from parking car, can get windy but is good alien for beds etc. Not commercial restaurants are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit

No exactly (it is one inside the hotel which is there, Hapimag). But the nearest are in Plakias (and also in Lefcogia village in the way to Rethimno). Both are about five minutes with car.
