This resort is small and ideal for families with younger children. Everything was maintained well. The gentleman in the ticket office was incredibly kind and helpful when needed too. As experienced snowboarders it was a little limiting, but still a great visit.

Easy to access and the skiing facilities a suitable for all abilities. For non skiers the views are wonderful with a good restaurant and deck chair area to watch the ski-ing and take in the mountain views.

Excellent mix of slopes, easy and more difficult. At high season unfortunately waiting for a ski lift takes too long.

As long as your Hotel is in Seefeld, you are only looking at a 15 minute max walk to the start of the funicular train. We were lucky as it was 2 minutes around the corner.
Are the cable cars opened end of October in Seefeld?

I'm not sure. I believe they would be open all year round as it caters for walkers too as well as skiers.

You can ride up on the Funicular to the halfway point and then there are a choice of two cablecars - one takes you close to the Seefelder Spitze where you just have to walk along a ridge to get to it (nothing too difficult... More
