Pushkar Cooking Art & Home Stay was established by Ashok and Shivani Tak around two decades ago in the scenic town of Pushkar (Rajasthan). Shivani is an authentic North Indian Cooking instructor and has been giving hands on cooking experience for last two decades. Ashok (popular as Camel Man) is an internationally acclaimed Camel Decoration artist, rare embroidery and textile collector and exhibitor. He also owns a small museum exhibiting his collection at the same premises. In October 2016, we have started a small home stay with a self cooking kitchen for our guests.

After having cycled through the desert in Rajasthan and eating a variety of foods, this cooking class with Shivani was a perfect way to tie together many of the dishes and lessons from the road. She is patient and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended.
