Must visit the monastery for the beautiful location at which it is located! The beautiful architecture adorned with colourful prayer flags looks very enchanting amidst the scenic beauty of nature. One could also faintly see the paragliders dwindling in the air from the monastery. Its really enchanting to visit the monastery and to simply sit here for some time. There... More

This monastery is near Bir - the place for paragliding. Since the weather was foggy and we could not do paragliding,we ventured further on the forest road and found this Monastery. We took a taxi from bir taxi stand, it cost us Rs.400 for the return trip. The drive there is beautiful. If you have the time you can even take a long walk. I suggest that you visit in the afternoon, we saw about a hundred monks chanting and praying in the monastery. It has truly transcending :)

It is one of the best monastery in Dharamshala Region as per my view. It has a very giant statue of Lord Budhha. The temple is beautifull. View around the temple is also great. There lush green everywhere around the monastery. Very nice place.

An overwhelming amazing peaceful place. I don't have enough words to describe the beauty divinity and peace that I encountered here. I recommend to folks who truly appreciate peace and spirituality.
