On entering this museum, I overheard a patron’s scathing remark on being so thankful that she is not ‘a collector’. To each his own, although, we are all collectors.....even only of memories. And the memories inside this establishment cannot be explained. Whether you are particularly...More

This small museum contributes to the attractions of Simon's Town with something for kids and the child in all of us. It features a unique personal collection of thousands of toys -- die-cast cars (the majority), ships and planes, working electric trains, lead soldiers, dolls...More

Not really that big, don't have huge expectations if you go here. Our son who is 7 wasn't that impressed. More for adults who want some nostalgia.

It is a real gem. Very special collection of train sets and soldiers and cars, not full of scary Victorian porcelain dolls. More miniature toys. Brings back great childhood memories. Enjoyed it more than expected.

This is a fascinating nostalgic experience with a warm and smiling welcome. It took me back to my childhood memories seeing toys and activities before the technological invasion. Well worth a visit

This is one person’s collection of all we remember from our childhood, cars, trains, toys. Makes you realise what you have thrown away during your lifetime,

We came across this museum purely by chance. I had forgotten my glasses that day so some of the smaller items were not as clear as I would have liked but it was a really great experience. Lovely exhibits and well laid out too.
