Though enticing for its fine white sand and clear blue surf, there’s no swimming at this beach—at least not for humans. Foxy Beach is strictly reserved for African penguins.

Upgrading taking place with information section. Was wonderful watching the breeding penguins from the board walk. You can swim on beautiful "Boulders Beach" with the penguins and take a walk along the boardwalk to the penguin colony. A great unique experience for the whole family...More

The board walk takes you here and it is a must to see the penguins. They are all so close and you could stand and watch all day!

Kepy apart for the penguins but very close nevertheless. There are Dassies wandering around the boardwalk as well. The Penguins mate for life so most are already in pairs.

This is where you really get close to the Penguin's. Tad upset as they seem frightened for the most - Not well known and found by accident.Best to visit late afternoon - Is quiet

Walked by but didn’t stop. Plenty of activity in and out of the sea as well as penguins mingling in beach and in sea.

This is a lovely small but popular beach where the penguins just roam about doing their thing. Great to watch their antics but also a nice sandy beach for relaxing and chilling. No beds or parasols available.

Up close and personal experience. The penguins have right of way here and they are not afraid of humans! Don't try to pet one - you will lose a finger! A further stroll leads to a delightful little beach with a very safe swimming area.

Less crowded than Boulders Beach. Penguins are busy doing their thing and not paying attention to the people. Great place to view them going in and out of the water, sunning themselves, drying out, etc. Fun outing and a must do!

We visited the penguin colony 4 times during our stay - so we spent over 11 hours observing the fascinating birds, not getting bored once. It is worth to try different times of the day as the activities of the birds are different as well.
